Greek MPs Giorgos Koumoutsakos and Niki Kerameus have asked the Deputy Foreign Minister whether Greek textbooks contain any irredentist references, to which he replied negatively.
“As a member state of the UN, the EU, UNESCO, the Council of Europe, and OSCE, Greece firmly adheres to the principles of non-violence in the relations between the countries, the principles of good-neighborliness, of inviolability of borders and preventing hate speech in the Greek textbooks,” Bolaris said. “Accordingly, the textbooks used in Greece don’t contain any irredentist/revisionist references, as mentioned in Article 8, paragraph 5 of the Prespa Agreement.”
